Cups and saucers, pots and pans
Knives and forks, spoons and cans.
Bottles, fruit, vegetables and rice
Loads in the freezer kept on ice.
Everything must have a place,
All items must be clean,
Every cupboard needs a scrub
And all the tops must gleam.

Defrost and/or wash the inside of the fridge/freezer thoroughly.
Wash and dry the racks, drawers and shelves and return them.
Sort out the foods checking their condition and expiry date.
Return only the foods you really want.
Clean the top, the door and the sides of the fridge or freezer.

Kitchen Storage Units
Clearing out the storage cupboards and drawers may take a while so maybe, just do a few a day. The only way to declutter your storage is to empty your drawer or cupboard, clean it out and be really, really strict with yourself about what you put back in! It is good to remember that the rubbish, or out of date food is only fit for the bin, but anything useful can be donated to a charity shop and put to good use. Once you have sorted your storage areas then you will know your storage needs.

THE HOB
Some hobs are very easy to keep clean if you wash them after every cooking session. If your hob needs a good scrub be careful to follow the makers instructions as abrasive materials used to clean stubborn marks, can be detrimental to the surface area of the hob.
DO YOU NEED AN EASY CLEAN, MODERN, LARGER OR SMALLER OVEN AND HOB?
The Kitchen Sink and Drainer
Remove the plate rack and any other articles on the surface. Wash thoroughly especially around the taps and the drain area. Sinks can get quite unhygienic so make sure all grease marks are washed away and the water flows down the drain with ease.
