The Building Regulations Department also need to approve of all the procedures involved in the build.
This office will require detailed plans, site plans, and answers to many administration questions.
Once these forms have been sent in, there will be another few weeks of waiting for approval.

Once you have gained approval for your design idea, then at last you can get quotes for the work from your nominated builder.
The whole procedure from the concept of your idea to when the building work can start is often about 5 months!!
