• Dry the newly washed area and return all items that are still in date and belong in that specific cabinet.

• Cloves, dried mint (especially peppermint) or chillies scattered on shelves will deter ants and mice.
• Bunches of elder leaves or tansy will deter flies.
• Scatter a few bay leaves among pulses and flour to repel weevils.
• Spray diluted lavender oil in the corners and cracks of your cupboards to send and black beetles away.
• To get rid of cockroaches mix equal parts of oatmeal, molasses and borax and stuff the mixture into their holes.
