BEDROOM IDEAS FOR GIRLS

Bedroom ideas for girls often need wide researching and hopefully long happy discussions with your child.
The bedroom may have to function as a playroom and a bedroom so the challenge is to make it a fun room during the day and a peaceful and restful room during the night.
The fun part of the room should be stimulating whilst the peaceful area is where they sleep all night long. This is where bedroom ideas for girls helps to get the balance right.
Playroom
If this room is used for more than one child, make sure each child has her private space including somewhere to store her private things and another shelf or suchlike to display her favourite possessions.
Allow them to organize these places themselves and expect the children to keep their areas reasonably tidy so as not to unduly upset their room-mate.
Try to keep the play area clear and available for new types of play every day.
Safety Measures for a Children's Room
- Make sure all the electrical wiring is safe and out of the fiddling reach of little ones.
- Arrange for sockets to have shutters and to be put near the beds and the future home-working areas.
- Allow for extra sockets for all their teenage machinery!

It may be worth considering creating a room for your child that will grow with her. If desired, allow her to have the colourful bed accessories etc. but keep the framework of the room for long term durability. Think about the teen years!

Childrens Furniture
Chests of drawers could be arranged with a long laminated board on top providing knee holes ready to use as a desk or art and craft area.
There will be a need for a wardrobe suitable for the age of the child, a few chairs, bookshelves, maybe a basket for toys and a soft arm chair for relaxing story telling.
The colours of the child’s room can be altered as she matures into adult life.
A good idea could be a white ceiling and calming pastel coloured walls, taking the colour tones from the main colour of the bed linen and choosing suitable accented colours for the cushions and accessories.
You may wish to add a colourful frieze or lovely children's pictures.
Do really enjoy the lovely years when your little girl is at home.
I guess she is your greatest joy and a little ray of sunshine.
