Maybe you have favourite bathroom colors in mind and are not sure if they will work. Try buying test pots of the chosen colors and paint each on a different piece of stiff card and place them where you think you will use each color.
Remember that colors will look different in the natural and artificial light. They will also take on different tones as the daylight changes from sunrise to sunset. Some colors may look dreary or not quite right under your light testing trials, but using this method makes it easy to change your mind at any time and chose a different shade or color.

White is popular bathroom color as it has strong connections to cleanliness, freshness, purity and hygiene. Its downside is, that it can suggest a clinical or cold atmosphere. This color will benefit by being livened up with small doses of bright or accent colors and good lighting. In the right setting, black and white may even be striking partners.
Blue as a bathroom color is cool, restful and soothing and in combination with white may remind us of sunny days spent by the water. Blues that contain a hint of green or red rather than grey, are believed to radiate a warmer feeling.
The vibrant bathroom paint colors such as red, orange and bright green are usually best used for accent colors as they suggest alertness rather than relaxation but these shades can also be considered when used in combination with pale, cooler colors.
Natural and paler colors in yellow, cream, terracotta and biscuit shades can also be considered as relaxing and earthing and a good wall color for sunny bathrooms.

There are certain types specifically manufactured to resist damage due to water and fungal growth both common in bathrooms.
