Designing a bathroom makeover needs alot of thought, research and some experimenting on a small scale.

A bathroom is a busy place used family and visitors but it is also a hideaway where we can luxuriate in a relaxing, warm bath in our own little private sanctuary.
Choose your bathroom furniture and fittings with great care. The general character and style of the house and maybe the sell-on potential will also need to be taken into consideration Choose a style that suits, your character, your overall body size, health needs and budget.
Bathroom WOW Factor
The trend is for a bathroom to give visitors a wow factor. Oversized baths, whether curvy or square, basins, bulbous and elongated, wet rooms, coloured glass cubicles, mosaic artwork and steam cubicles are all the rage but maybe you want just a normal clean-lined bathroom that will suit your everyday needs and budget!
Bathroom Paint Color
The secret of a great makeover for your bathroom is to paint it very carefully. Use masking tape to help you paint any edges immaculately. Paint the window frames and ceiling white and fill any gaps around the bath and basin with a pure white filler. This will create a clean, hygienic feeling to the room.
Test your chosen bathroom paint colour in artificial, evening and daylight. Some colours change quite dramatically in different light. To do this, paint a little of a tester pot of the colour on wood or card and leave it in your planned position. Buy just a few bathroom tiles and try them before making any decisions. Take your time, do not be tempted to rush. Your bathroom will be there for a long time!
Bathroom Lights
There are certain rules surrounding electrical appliances in bathrooms. It is therefore advisable to use the services of a professional. Always position ceiling and wall lights with care. Do not have them shining in your eyes when you are relaxing in the bath!
Read books, look through magazines, go to the bathroom show rooms, look at friends bathrooms. Do a lot of research in the library and internet, draw plans, play around with colours and only then begin your adventure called my Bathroom Makeover
