HOW I BECAME A COMPUTER WHIZZ KID AT THE AGE OF 66 YEARS!
Hello! This site has been great fun to write. My name is Heidi. Unfortunately I am not the Heidi of the lovely story book by Johanna Spyri but I am of Swiss parentage. As the Swiss are renowned for their efficiency and tidiness, maybe that is why I have always wished to live simply and have aimed to have a reasonably organized household.
I have had a busy life raising my six children but I loved the hustle and bustle of family life. In the first few years of my marriage, due to my husband’s job, we had to move house every 18 months, so you can imagine my need for simplicity and order.
Although I am now of retirement age, I still have a job I love. I work at home and independently but with all the backup and help when needed. Not only that, I also work at my own speed, with no time restrictions on the project I have chosen. I believe I am lucky to have discovered a programme called SiteBuildIt which has helped me on my way.
In my working life, I was first a nurse and then a teacher for children and adults with special needs. When I retired, I only had a basic knowledge of the workings of the internet but now with the encouragement of my grown-up family and the very well written guide and on-screen help given by SiteBuildIt, I am having great fun working on line, and can you believe it, actually really love my part time work from home!! A number of my friends and family have also joined SBI, some working full time and others part-time.
